(September 6, 1919 – January 27, 2010) was a fighter pilot in the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African American military aviators in the United States Army Air Corps. While flying with the 302d Fighter Squadron, he scored four confirmed air combat victories:

The Battlefield Blog has a post from today (dated yesterday) with details on the PC beta testing for Battlefield Bad Company 2, saying the test is slated to run from January 28 to February 25 on a 32-player map called Port Valdez, which features a snow environment. Title: Infinity Ward MMOG Rumor
Posted on: January 08, 2010, 02:03:28 PM
Topicstarter: Bluepetal
See!  I predicted this would happen:

Infinity Ward is developing an MMOG is the latest speculation for the Call of Duty franchise, reports Destructoid, where they say they've heard that Infinity Ward is hiring developers from Blizzard and Sony Online Entertainment (one of whom "may be the lead designer of EverQuest II") to help get things off the ground. They attribute these reports to "industry sources," who could not say whether or not this MMOG is actually part of the Call of Duty series. They say "Our Intel seems to indicate that Call of Duty will continue as an annual franchise while IW runs this MMO alongside it." This jibes with [url=http://www.bluesnews.com/cgi-bin/...

Title: Infinity Ward off Modern Warfare 3?
Posted on: January 07, 2010, 05:01:49 PM

Infinity Ward is not creating Modern Warfare 3, and is instead working on something "completely new" reports VG247, attributing this to "a VG247 source," but also saying, "The details come from US recruitment channels," adding they have not received a reply from Activision to a query about this. They also state "one dev source" tells them MW3 will be developed by a Canadian developer (pointing out Activision's only Canadian developer is Radical Entertainment), while "another" tells them it will be Sledgehammer Games, which was formed by ex-Visceral bosses. Back in October Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling reflected on the future, saying: "Right now we don't have a clue what our next game is going ...

Topicstarter: Bluepetal
The upcoming Medal of Honor game will feature two single-player campaigns is one of the revelations in a Medal of Honor preview on The Lost Gamer looking at the next installment in the military shooter series. The preview is based on an article in GamesMaster magazine. Here's a bit on the two single-player campaigns:

The story itself will be told from the perspective of several different operatives, providing unique experiences across a range of missions set in Afghanistan. Further examples include the use of disguises whilst meeting up with local informants.

Most interesting, is that we learn that Medal of Honor is set to divide its single-...
